Product Review: Urban Decay Naked Skin Ultra Definition Loose Finishing Powder
Ladies and gentlemen
Welcome to another segment of Evan’s product review!
Yes I am a big fan of reviewing products because I believe that we all want bang for our buck or doe
Which ever you want
I don’t wanna tell you how to live you life!
Today’s review will be about the newly released loose powder from Urban Decay
Well at least new in Malaysia
We are really lagging in product launches people
WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?
Urban Decay Naked Skin Ultra Definition Loose Finishing Powder
I first remembered of the HD loose powder from MakeUp Forever when I saw this
Did anyone else had that?
Finish getting naked with our addictively silky weightless finishing powder.
Provides all benefits of the pressed version that gives a demi-matte finish
Set makeup, cut shine and blur flaws
Minimizes imperfections, soft focus effect
Oil and paraben free
I think need to take a cold shower after reading that
I got this at Sephora for RM119
Ahh that’s better
That description somehow sounds very good to me
This is the ingredients list
Silica, Dimethicone, Sorbic Acid and Mica
Very similar to the HD powder from MUFE
The powder comes in a sturdy glass jar with a rose gold twist off cap
Packaging is stellar in my opinion
Its so pwetty!
I got mine in Naked Light because I have really fair skin
It comes with 8g of product
The Urban Decay logo on top of the cap
When you first open it
You get a sticker to stop the powder from spilling out from it
After peeling off the sticker
You are again presented with the Urban Decay logo
I love this actually
You feel so high class when you see this
Such design! Much Wow
This is how the powder looks like
Be careful to not get this everywhere!
It blends easily into the skin
I cannot detect any fragrance from it
Fully blended into the skin
Invisible and blurs the lines on the back of my hand
Since this is a Urban Decay product
I thought it was suitable to use the Urban Decay Naked Skin foundation along with it
Which I have already done a review here!
This is my face without the powder
You can see the shine and glowiness on my T-zone
This is my face after powdering
Shine is cut down by a lot
Leaving a demi-matte finish like promised
My imperfections are slightly blurred as well
It does give a soft focus effect because of the demi-matte finish
I don’t notice it clinging to the dry patches on my face though
So I reckon that dry skinned people would be able to use
Unless you have very very dry skin
It is not flash friendly because of the silica
The same problem like the HD powder of MUFE
Make you just wanna…
The oil control for this lasted for me about 3.5 hours before I noticed that I started getting shiny around my T-zone
It did help my makeup to last longer and it does photograph very nicely except for flash photos
A great HD powder for those who is not going to use it for flash photography. Recommend this for people with oily to normal skin.
That’s all for today
