Product Review: Laura Mercier Artist’s Pallette for Eyes (Christmas Collection)

Yoze people
Howzit shakin my honeybunnies?

Today I will be reviewing to you one of my recent purchases
Yes it is very recent
But I promise you
This is a purchase that you will never regret

It is the..

Laura Mercier Artist’s Palette for Eyes

Some of you have seen me posting on my Instagram that I bought this palette

My face was exactly like this when I saw it

I got it for RM 189

There are twelve shades of eyeshadow
Six matte and six shimmer

Love the casing
The design remind me of your skin when its cold
Goosebumps
Which is exactly what I felt when I saw this

Sexy back of the palette

The palette comes with a generously sized mirror
Good for those who want to take it while travelling

SAY CHEESE!

I love how the palette goes from light to dark

I feel that the pictures below does not do the shades justice
Its really beautiful in real life

Sparkling dew is pale light shade with shimmer
I use it to highlight the inner corner of my eyes and the browbone

Vannila Nuts is a matte light peach shade
Good for highlighting the lower inner corner of the eyes

Guava is a peachy pink with golden shimmer

Primrose is a slightly lighter pink than Guava but with more shimmer

African Violet is violet copper with gold shimmer
I use it on top of my base shade

Fresco is a light matte brown
I use it as my base shade

Plum smoke is a muted taupe with grey undertoner
Its matte

Bamboo is a golden brown shimmer
Very nice for using it as a base shade

Kir Royal is a purple with slight shimmer
Very nice for smoky eye

Truffle is a matte darker brown compared to Fresco

Violet Ink is a matte dark purple

Espresso Bean is a matte dark brown with a bit of black

These are all the shades swatched on the arm
All of the shades are more on the warm side but I think that people with cool and warm undertones can wear the shades with no problem at all
All of the shades are VERY pigmented and buttery smooth

This me wearing Fresco as the base shade, Sparkling Dew as the highlight and Truffle in the outer corner of the eye

The colors blend together perfectly well
Actually all of them do no matter how you match them

Close up on how the eyeshadows look

I have not experience any creasing or flaking when applying and wearing them
It lasts on me the whole day with minimum smudging and fading

You can go from light neutral eyes to dark smoky with this palette!

Conclusion:
Buttery smooth eyeshadows that are pigmented and easy to blend. What’s not to like about it?

BUY IT BEFORE IT RUNS OUT OF STOCK!

Unsponsored

That’s all for today

Love,
Evan Chang
